Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate joins the lineup in a 1:8 scale statue based on the illustration from the exclusive version of the Xbox 360 game package. Already a neuroscience researcher at Viktor Chondria University at just 18 after skipping grades to graduate from college, Kurisu is captured sitting atop a series of intertwined gears, gazing into the distance with a wonderfully whimsical sense of suspension. It’s a display that feels right at home in the strange and wonderful world of Steins;Gate.
Everyday details get plenty of attention, from Kurisu’s casually worn jacket and necktie to her boots and broken cell phone, with each element carefully sculpted to capture the atmosphere of the original series. Between the floating gears, relaxed pose, and unmistakable Kurisu attitude, this statue gives the genius tsundere a fittingly memorable place in your collection.
